The Great Commission
"Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything that I have commanded you. And remember, I am with you always, to the end of the age” (Matthew 28:19-20).
Preamble
Through Holy Baptism, we have been chosen and called to be the people of God, as individuals and as a congregation. Therefore, we will serve God in His mission for us.
Statement of Mission
This congregation reaches out to the world and our local communities with the Good News of the Gospel of Our Lord Jesus Christ. We receive strength for this mission through Worship, Christian Education, Service, Benevolent Giving, Witness and Mutual Support and our commitment to grow in faith and participation.
Epilogue
Empowered by the Holy Spirit and in gratitude of God’s love, the members of Our Saviour’s Lutheran Church commit ourselves to the great commission – the support of His ministry.
